Creative News - What’s In & What’s Out🗞️
We’re mixing up our weekly news updates by spilling the tea on what’s in and what’s out this week. Sometimes brands miss the mark and we’re going to share our favourite and least favourite campaigns of the week.

What’s In: The battle of the Christmas Adverts is back
The holiday season is peak pressure time for advertisers. They’re pulling out all the stops to make sure their clients’ brands capture a big slice of holiday spending. Adding to the excitement, today’s media scrutinises each Christmas ad as if it were a mini-movie—evaluating, ranking, and celebrating them as festive storytelling events. These ads aren’t just commercials; they’ve become cultural moments that audiences look forward to every year.
Which one is your favourite this year?

What’s out: The Fashion Industry is going backwards when it comes to sustainability and here’s why
Buckle up—the fashion industry is headed into a whirlwind 2025! After years of anticipation, a market slowdown has arrived, and with it, a whole new set of challenges. Price-conscious shoppers, shaped by recent inflation, are rethinking spending habits. Plus, the rise of “dupes” and the impact of climate change are disrupting the status quo, making it a year where only the most adaptable brands will thrive.
While many shoppers remain reluctant to pay more for sustainable options, companies that prioritise eco-conscious practices will gain efficiency and a competitive edge. In short, 2025 may be the ultimate test—but for creative, nimble brands ready to pivot, it could also be the year of breakthroughs.
I’d love it if you could share this newsletter with your creative friends so they can get the inside scoop on the creative industries.
