What can you do to stay motivated and be more productive during cosy season 🍁

Hey, Creative!
I’ve got a confession for you.
I used to think remote work sounded awful.
Until it allowed me to discover an opportunity that changed my life.
After being stuck inside for the best part of 2 years during lockdown,
I was desperate to reconnect with people.
What I didn’t realise is that remote working doesn’t mean you have to work alone.
I’ve been working remotely for the last 3 years and it’s allowed me to meet hundreds of interesting creatives, founders and freelancers.
Here’s what they don’t tell you about remote work:
→ Saving +2 hours a day on commuting gives you time to start that side hustle you’ve been thinking about.
→ You can have a slower start to your day when you’re feeling low or struggling with your mental health.
→ You can say yes to events in different cities as you’re not restricted by working in one location.
→ You’re 10x more productive when you don’t have the distraction of having to look busy all day.
→You can find more inspiration when you mix up your schedule and work somewhere new.
Remote work isn’t the ‘lazy’ option.
It’s a way to unlock more creativity and allow people to work in the best way for them.
Whether you love creating the perfect cosy work-from-home set-up or enjoy getting out of the house, having a varied work routine can help you stay inspired.
If you’re looking for the best places to work remotely, we have a great recommendation!

What’s In: Pentergram reveals it’s new identity for Manchester’s Innovation district
Pentagram has unveiled the new visual identity for Sister, an innovation district in Manchester. Launched by Mayor Andy Burnham, this ambitious project blends science, technology, and community to create a vibrant new neighbourhood.
Sister, a collaboration between The University of Manchester and Bruntwood SciTech, will feature offices, labs, creative spaces, homes, shops, and a new arts centre. Designed by Allies and Morrison with sustainable landscaping by SLA, it connects Manchester's history of innovation with its future. Sister’s name nods to a 1963 educational proposal, S.I.S.T.E.R., embodying the district's deep ties to scientific advancement.
We love this use of typography and the urban take on this visual identity. Read more here

What’s out: Fast-paced living - Slow down and relax with this beauty brand’s new identity.
Postcard, a Singapore-based, sustainable beauty brand, has partnered with UK agency Robot Food for a comprehensive rebrand, including a new strategy, tone of voice, packaging, and website. With ambitions to expand globally, Postcard aimed to maintain its sustainable roots while avoiding typical eco-friendly clichés.
The refreshed identity encourages consumers to slow down and embrace self-care, reframing indulgence as mindful and non-wasteful. The brand now positions itself as a go-to for essential self-care products, promoting mindful consumption and reducing everyday pressures. The new look and messaging resonate with those seeking a simpler, more sustainable lifestyle.
We love this gorgeous brand identity and different take on consumerism. Read more about the rebrand here.
I’d love it if you could share this newsletter with your creative friends so they can get the inside scoop on the creative industries.
