What do you want to do when you grow up? 🤔 A question that can define the rest of your career...
Our first LIVE episode of Confessions of a Creative, Industry prediction and open job opportunity update.
Hey, Creatives!
It’s estimated that at least 66% of young people don’t know what to do as a career when they finish their education.
And I was one of them.
I spent hours researching ‘how to get into the fashion industry’ or ‘how to get a creative job’
With no success.
One of the reasons I found it so difficult was because I didn’t know 90% of the creative jobs I could apply for because I didn’t know they existed.
This is exactly why I wanted to create the Confessions of a Creative series.
And this week, I am hosting my first Live Audio episode of the series!
I’m so excited to be joined by the amazing Emma Keane for our first episode!
Join us this Thursday at 12pm BST
We’ll be talking all about:
→ How non-linear career paths can help you progress
→ How to get started building your personal brand
→ How to build your personal brand as an employee
+ There will be a chance to ask questions too 🎤
I’d love it if you guys could come along and support!

What’s In Sustainable Packaging Design winning awards for innovation
The Pentawards annual packaging design competition has revealed its shortlist, showcasing projects in the sustainability category that highlight exceptional material innovation.
This announcement coincides with Plastic Free July, an important initiative by the Plastic Free Foundation aiming for a world without plastic waste.
While using recycled plastics poses challenges, such as being energy-intensive and costly, the projects on the Pentawards shortlist demonstrate promising pathways to a sustainable future. These innovations make new material processes more accessible to brands of all sizes.
From bubble wrap replacements to edible packaging, we love these innovative ideas!

On Monday, Burberry announced several major changes: it replaced its CEO, issued a profit warning, and cancelled its dividend. Joshua Schulman, the former CEO of Jimmy Choo, Coach, and Michael Kors, will succeed Jonathan Akeroyd, who had served as CEO for two years.
Yanmei Tang, an analyst at Third Bridge, said: “Burberry is among the brands that have been affected by a slowdown observed across the wider luxury industry. High-end customers have become pickier about what they buy.
“Our experts say Burberry is struggling to clearly define and elevate its brand identity, resulting in confusing messaging and poor sales growth. There is too much reliance on a new creative direction rather than making operational changes.”
Do companies in the luxury fashion space need to innovate to stay alive? What are your thoughts?
